Five wins on the trot and still counting!!!
This is the real Milan. Was there really any doubt, one may ask?
From Calabria to the Lazio game to the Reggina to the derby della Madonina and then the two Zurich encounters - five wins and who is next? Seems Serie A's whipping team (Cagliari) will be at the end of the ever impressive Milan attack....and mind you, the defence too.
Before the Lazio game, Milan had gone 8 games without a victory in all competitions dating back to the beginning of the pre season. Infact was it not a draw and 7 defeats or so...and the season was already seeming to a foregone conclusion between the so called Mourinho's team and Juve.
But that has all changed, or has it???
Seemingly the best transfer market in a long time having bought Luca Zambrotta, Flaimini,Senderos, Sheva and Dinho with Borrielo(he is one good striker), Abbiati, and Antonini all returning. This put fear to all teams. The midfield is simply the best anywhere in the world. A team that can boast of 3 European player of the year in the attack and a defence with the evergreen Maldini and the so far fantastic Zambrotta with Antonin doing well as well.
So can we really sustain this till the end of the season. I personally think we can at least with the distraction of the champions league for this season since we just decided to give other teams a chance to have a taste of the champions league because when we return there next season, we'll just do our normal business we have been doing since 2003 which is go on to win it...as simple as that..(Does anyone remember that the last time we played in the UEFA cup, we went on to win the champions league the following year...2003!!!!remember???)...
Thats by the way...I was asking if we can sustain this form?
Juve is crumbling, Inter isnt as good as us, Roma has been unpredictable and Lazio...ha ha ha, just the early pace setters..they may still give Roma, Juve and Fiorentina a fight but they dont have the experience to remain at the top for long..Call them the Manchester City of Sven Goran Erickson's early days reign last season and you wont be wrong but they have the capability to make it to the champions league though.
I am predicting a Milan scudetto win with Inter second, Lazio third and Juve or Roma 4th....

Remember we have two teams good enough to be any Serie A's starting 11 each week. Something i used to hate Inter having some time ago(i was so jealous they can bring on two totally different teams for two different competitions and still win with the weakened side...now its our turn to rejoice and be glad....

Well its not my fault tht its our time to shine, its not my fault that even with UEFA Cup we still attract stars, its not my fault that we are the most succesful team in thw world (17 World titles, forget Boca...), its not my fault that we are rich and its certainly not my fault that we have 3 European footballer of the years in one team....
Let me rest now.....because its not my fault some are not Milan fans
